"The bleeding continues, but we are getting better at making bandages."

OOTC at All Saints’ opened its doors in 1995, OOTC was meant to be a Band Aid solution, a temporary fix for a complex problem, but here we are, many years later still going strong!

Friday nights from November to April we help some of the most disadvantaged and marginalized people in our society – men and women who are in desperate need of Food, Fellowship and Shelter.

If you would like to become involved in OOTC please contact the coordinator through the church office on 416-233-1125 Ext 0 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Food is provided by 18 local churches and groups and is truly delicious; we have really earned the title of the ‘Kingsway Hilton’.

Fellowship helps our guests believe in themselves and undoubtedly helps restore some of their lost self confidence, it takes many forms.

Clothing, we distribute new underclothes and donated coats, hats, scarves, gloves and shoes; Care and counseling through our Parish Nurse; Shower and laundry facilities (something we can take for granted but which means so much to our guests) and opportunities to chat with friends, watch a film, and listen to music.

Our wonderful Art program, our guests have produced glorious work over the years many of which now hang in homes in and around the Kingsway as a result of our Easter art sale.

Finally, in the true sense of Out of the Cold, we provide overnight Shelter for up to 20 men - only a mattress on our basement floor perhaps but way better than the alternative of sleeping  rough in the middle of winter.

Our Volunteers are really special, dedicated, loyal and generous and without them we could not provide the help we do. There are over 80 from all walks of life and week after week, year after year they do wonderful work.

Although much is given freely to us we still have expenses and to pay them we depend on the generosity of many local churches, community groups and the annual Choral concert organized by the Kingsway BIA; this is a wonderful way for local businesses and the people of the Kingsway to show their support for the community. 2006 saw the sixth annual concert, once again it was a great success.
