About Youth Ministry
Youth Ministry at All Saints’ has been developed to meet the needs of young people as they live in the real world, seeking meaning and authenticity. We hope to provide youth with the critical skills to enable them to interpret the Christian story in the context of their daily lives. Spiritual growth and development opportunities are provided in creative encounters and various activities. As youth participate in these activities, they have a chance to ask questions, learn about the relevance of Christ in their own lives, and follow His example of service to others.

Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club takes place on Sundays during the 10:00 service for those in grade six and beyond (those in high school are encouraged to join in the service upstairs).
We meet in the youth room (room 3) and follow the Seasons of the Spirit curriculum. Breakfast Club provides an opportunity for youth to dig deeper into the Bible, explore their faith, and have some fun. If you want to join in, come to the youth room before the 10:00 service, we will begin at 10:00 and join the congregation upstairs before communion. Bring your Bible (talk to Kelly if you don’t have one) and hope to see you there!
Please note that there is no Breakfast Club
- during “Everybody Upstairs” Sundays
- Christmas Day
- Easter Day

“Everybody Upstairs”
About once a month there will be an “Everybody Upstairs” Sunday. During these services the youth sit together near the front in the “youth pew,” and are actively involved in the readings, prayers, and often a dramatic presentation.

Church Involvement

Youth are encouraged to be active within the church, and throughout the year there will be opportunities to participate in childcare, help with Godly Play, serve during Sunday services, work at the annual Spring Sale, join the “Walk to Bethlehem,” and more!

Youth Group

Youth Group takes place on Friday evenings about once a month. These social events include both community service events (like the 30 Hour Famine, the Children’s Christmas Party, and delivering fliers for the spring sale) and just-for-fun events (like scavenger hunts, murder mysteries, movie nights, Amazing Races, and sleepovers)! Don’t forget to invite your friends
This year we’ll run two groups. A junior youth group geared to those in grades six to nine and a senior youth group geared to those in grades nine and up. Each group will meet about once a month. Groups will meet together for larger events or community service.
Look for details for upcoming events on the front page of this website, in the "Children's & Youth Ministries" section in the right hand column.

Drama
There are many opportunities throughout the year for youth to be involved with all sorts of dramatic presentations. These include:
- many skits throughout the year, including weekly during Advent
- many important roles during the annual Christmas Pageant, including playing some of the main characters, and helping with the younger children during rehearsals and the night of the pageant
- performing the Passion on Good Friday
Please let Kelly know if you are interested in participating. No experience necessary! Everyone is more than welcome to join!
