Join us next Sunday at 10:00 for a Jazz Eucharist with Tim Elliott and a full jazz band.
After the Celebration we will gather for a pot-luck brunch including some of New Orleans’ finest dishes.

Our next luncheon will take place on Thursday, February 18th.

The Eucharist will be celebrated at 10:30 AM followed by a speaker from the Daily Bread Food Bank.
Please bring a non-perishable food item for the food bank.
Our special guests this month will be seniors from St. James Humber Bay.

The "After Christmas Let-down" has happened. Our Food Donations to the Food Bank have dropped off, but the need is just as great.

Our 30th Annual SPRING SALE

Saturday May 1st. Please mark that date on your calendar as well as the days prior to help sort and distribute.
This is our major fundraiser and FUN day.
Items suitable for sale can be brought to the Church starting Monday, March 15th. Please bring them when the sexton is on duty - those hours will be announced closer to the date.

Volunteer Opportunity

Any of you who attended the Seniors Lunch in December will remember the wonderful performance by the Grade 1 class from Lambton Kingsway School. Since the concert, the class teacher, Don Blais, has contacted us to ask if there might be any parishioners who would be willing to help in the classroom.

Sunday February 21st after the 10 am service.
Please note, anyone wishing a hard copy of the Vestry Report will need to reserve a copy.
Otherwise the report may be reviewed on the All Saints Website one week prior to the meeting.

Who & Why

Who Should Attend:

Every family that considers itself a full member of All Saints' Kingsway should be represented and voting.

Why:

We are facing a current Debt of $20 K +/-
Income was DOWN in 2009
Projected Revenues for 2010 are DOWN
We need to increase Ministry staffing to provide all the Programs. (Youth Worker ?, Curate ? )

YOU have to decide how to resolve this dilemma

Offering Envelopes

Reminder to parishioners who previously had an envelope numbered 200 or above.
These numbers have been reassigned for 2010.
Please ensure that you do not use your OLD envelopes as your collection will not be assigned to your current number.

Saving Jesus

A 5 session dvd-based exploration of Jesus Christ for the third millennium.
Delivered by the people who brought us Living the Questions.
Tuesday evenings at 7:30, and a repeat session each Wednesday morning at 10.
Beginning February 23^rd.

Workshops on "The Magdalene Moment":

"Tectonic shifts in culture, ecology, economics and spirituality are re-shaping our world. This series of workshops will provide some creative insights into how contemporary Christians might respond to these with hope and imagination."

Traditionally, Lent is a time of spiritual self-reflection, prayer and includes the practice of ‘giving something up’ as a way of preparation for Holy Week. This year during Lent we are inviting you to TAKE UP activities that promote healthy lifestyles and wholeness.
